Who We Are

Angel Redou-Breaker

Angel is a registered nurse with 17 years of nursing experience and nearly 20 years in healthcare. Angel began her nursing career in 1999 as an LVN and received her ADN 2 years later, both from Lee College in Baytown, TX.  In 2003 she received her BSN from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. During these years she worked in ER, telemetry, cardiac cath lab, and nursing administration. In 2004 she became a nursing director and maintained this role for 9 years while also completing her MBA from LeTourneau University in 2006.

Currently Angel is the Executive Director of PNLT. She is a wife and mother of 2. Her hobbies include baking and reading. She also runs a small gift basket business through her company R&R Sweets. Angel's passion for PNLT stemmed from the breast cancer diagnosis that her father received in 2004. It was very upsetting to her that no one seemed to look at this disease from a male perspective.  This sparked a desire to spread the word about this disease and seek reform so that men could freely speak about their experiences too.

"I love being a nurse and I enjoy seeing the progression of better health and knowledge with my patients. Now that I have transitioned into a new role, my vision has not changed; only the vessel. If I can bring understanding to my fellow nurses that their documentation represents the hard work and dedication to the patient, then I consider my job complete."
